GEOCACHING HQ AND NICKELODEON PARTNER ON LIMITED-EDITION
RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES TRACKABLE GAMEPIECES
TO CELEBRATE 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF ICONIC FRANCHISE


Turtles-Themed Adventure Lab Scavenger Hunt To Launch In New York in October,
In Addition To Global Geocaching Community Events To Be Hosted In Twelve Cities Around The World

 

SEATTLE/NEW YORK (Sept. 3, 2019) – To celebrate the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ 35th anniversary, Geocaching HQ has teamed up with Nickelodeon’s animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to release 4,000 limited-edition Raph, Leo, Mikey, and Donnie geocaching trackable game pieces across the globe.

Starting today, anyone can register to receive a Turtles trackable at geocaching.com/TMNT from September 3-10, 2019. Trackables will also be available at select geocaching events held in twelve cities around the world: Berlin, Germany; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Houma, Louisiana, USA; London, United Kingdom; Louisville, Kentucky, USA; Madrid, Spain; Memphis, Tennessee, USA; Mexico City, Mexico; Milan, Italy; New York, New York, USA; Paris; France; and São Paulo, Brazil. Each game piece will travel through the hands of geocachers, discovering new hidden locations and engaging with other players worldwide. Geocachers are encouraged to find all four Turtles and share photos on social using #TMNTcache and tag @TMNT.

In addition, a specially curated virtual scavenger hunt experience will launch in New York this October via the Geocaching Adventure Lab app, which will guide players to unique Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles locations throughout New York City.
